Additional assessment materials for the Cultivating Peace in the 21st Century
resource are available electronically (Adobe pdf format) and can be downloaded
by clicking
here.
These materials include:
- Portfolio Component with Rubrics for assessment and suggestions
on how to track Learning Skills for each lesson
- Tracking Sheets for Student Learning Skills which complement the
assessment activities have been developed for each lesson to assist teachers
with monitoring the development of learning skills in their students
- Final Demonstration Ideas containing planning notes, handouts and
rubrics to fully develop two of the culminating assessment ideas suggested
in the printed resource
- Student Questionnaires to assist in tracking changes in attitude
as well as the development of conceptual understanding (The questionnaires
can also be used as a pre- and post-test for conceptual and attitudinal learning)
- Student Observation Sheet and a Participation Self-Assessment for
Groups to assist in assessing participation and behaviour during activities
